Play the Ace is Canada's independent tracker of Catch the Ace charity lotteries. We exist because these games are brilliant for communities and chaotic to follow — jackpots live on dozens of small Legion and hospital-foundation sites, Facebook pages and ticket platforms.
Listings are kept current by Avery Chase Ellis, our editor. Twice a week every lottery's official website or Facebook page is re-read, and the published jackpot, week, cards left and draw details are copied exactly as shown. A game comes off the site when it stops posting dated draws. Every Wednesday we look for new games across Canada, and every new listing and article is reviewed before it's published. We never estimate a number. If a figure isn't published, we show "—".
Every jackpot, draw date and winner on this site is read from the lottery's own website, its ticketing page, or the organiser's own Facebook page, and stamped with the date we checked. Listings sourced from an organiser's Facebook page are labelled as such. We never estimate a pot, and we never use news stories, event listings or other people's posts as the source.
Play the Ace is based in Oakville, Ontario. Some lotteries have a commercial relationship with us: they pay for placement, or they're run by an operator connected to our owners. Those appear here marked Sponsored. Sponsorship never changes the numbers we show — read our editorial & sponsorship policy.
