Editorial & sponsorship policy

• Source of truth. Figures come from each lottery's official site or ticketing page, or — for the many small games run on Facebook — the organiser's own Facebook page, labelled "Source: organiser's Facebook". Where a site shows a live counter we read the rendered value. We don't list games known only from news stories, event listings or third-party posts.
• Still running? A jackpot widget can sit unchanged long after a game ends, so we check for a dated draw. A lottery with no dated draw in six weeks, or numbers that haven't moved in two weeks, comes off the site until it's running again.
• Last verified. Every listing shows the date we last confirmed it. Listings not re-verified within two draw cycles are not shown as current.
• Sponsored listings. Lotteries with a commercial relationship to Play the Ace (paid placement, or an operator connected to our owners) are marked Sponsored on every card and page and may appear first in "featured" sort. Sorting by jackpot or weeks left is never affected. Sponsorship never alters data.
• Independence. We don't sell tickets and receive no commission from ticket sales on non-sponsored lotteries.
• Corrections. Licensees can request corrections at [email protected]; we fix verified errors within one business day and note material changes.
• Responsible gambling. Every page carries provincial help-line information. We don't target minors and don't publish content encouraging play beyond one's means.
